O.N.E. is one third of the Detroit underground group DFA.

What does DFA stand for?

You have to listen to our music to know for sure. But until you find out, I'll just say "Don't F*ck Around". Thats for people who get it twisted when they hear a thought provokin song and figure these dudes don't get gangsta. But DFA is way deeper than threats of violence and gangsta bravado. We got alot to say.

What does O.N.E. stand for?

Outlasting.Never.Ending. But I really think I'm the 1. That dude. Not to brag, I'm honest with myself and I'm very hard on myself, but I only know of about 10 rappers that can f*ck with me and three of them are from my city and two of them are in my group. When I changed my name to O.N.E. it was because i feel like the tip of the pyramid. You know how it's wide at the bottom. Those are the ones that came before me that made me what i am.Ex-slaves and activist, artist and poets from the black past. People who always spoke the truth in the face of death and made it easier for me to say what I want to say,what needs to be said. I'm the tip of that pyramid. Eploribus unum. Out of many ONE>
